“Life is either a daring adventure… or nothing.”

So the travel bug that everyone talks about… is super real. It has bitten me as most of you know, and I just can’t seem to stop wandering. I don’t really understand it, but I CRAVE traveling, seeing new places, meeting people from all over the world, eating strange foods, hearing weird sounds, being totally out of my comfort zone. There’s something about the unknown that I can’t get enough of!

When it really comes down to it, I think what I love the most about traveling, is the person that I become. Full of life and energy! Hungry for knowledge. Continually learning. Constantly moving. Open minded. Patient. Observant. Giving. Relaxed. Optimistic. Appreciative. OF EVERYTHING. Traveling and witnessing people who live with next to nothing has made me so grateful for the life that I live. Disconnected. Being disconnected is one of the best feelings in the world. Don’t get me wrong, cell phones and the internet are great (and my mom would not be happy if she had to go months on end without talking to me), but there is something so special about being disconnected, and present in the given moment. Traveling gives you the ability to choose exactly who you want to be, regardless of what anyone else thinks. This sort of freedom is unparalleled. ❤

“There’s a race of men that don’t fit in, A race that can’t stay still; So they break the hearts of kith and kin, And they roam the world at will. They range the field and they rove the flood, and they climb the mountain’s crest; Theirs is the curse of the gypsy blood, And they don’t know how to rest.” – Robert Service

  1. I loved the video!! I am so happy to have met you and I am looking forward to hopefully sharing new experiences, smelling, tasting, and seeing new things with you! I too CRAVE traveling! I’ve been telling everyone that since I took my first trip out of the country and have never heard anyone else put it that way. It is an amazing thing! Also, love your blog, I will be checking back!

  3. Wow, looks to me like your hunger for knowledge has lead you to discover a priceless education. One that’s endless because it’s rooted in curiosity. That values experience over money and puts people over profit. So long as you’re serving others along the way in exchange for a bite and a bed, I couldn’t imagine a more fruitful ‘career’ than that. Cheers homie!
